What to do after a missed dose

This guide does not tell you what to take. It shows how to find the right answer for your medicine and how to keep a clear record.

Do not double up

Do not take two doses at once unless your doctor or leaflet says so. Some medicines are harmful if doubled.

Read the leaflet

The patient leaflet in the box usually says what to do if you miss a dose. Look for the section on missed doses.

Ask your pharmacist

If the leaflet is unclear, ask a pharmacist. They can answer for your exact medicine and your other tablets.

Log it honestly

Mark the dose as missed in your chart or in Oclo. A truthful record helps your doctor more than a perfect one.

Make it less likely

Tie each dose to a routine, use a reminder with a follow-up, and keep the chart where you will see it.

Questions

Can Oclo tell me whether to take a missed dose?

No. Oclo is a reminder and logging tool, not medical advice. Your leaflet or pharmacist knows the answer for your medicine.

How do I record a missed dose in Oclo?

Tap Skip on the reminder, or open History and mark the dose as missed. Your history then shows what actually happened.

Set a reminder with a follow-up

If a dose is not marked, Oclo asks again a little later. Free, no account.
